Lift Engineer
About The Position
Stannah is a family-owned manufacturing and engineering company that makes life easier for people by improving access for greater convenience and independence. The company was founded in 1867 and is now a global business with the family still involved in running it. Their products include stairlifts, lifts, escalators, and homelifts, as well as maintenance and repair services. This role is for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas, responsible for servicing lifts, fault finding, and ensuring safe daily operations with local team support.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
- Full UK driving licence
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
- Attending breakdowns and callouts
- Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
- Keeping sites safe and compliant
- Completing site logs and basic paperwork
