Requirements

Minimum age: 18
English reading, writing and communication skills, basic math skills.
Able to stand outside in all weather conditions and temperatures.
Able to assist guests stand up with possibility of lifting 50+ pounds.
Good communication skills required

Nice To Haves

Previous skiing or snowboarding experience is a plus but not required.
Skiing or snowboarding background helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Safety is the primary focus of this position.
Assisting guests on and off chairlifts.
Maintaining snow surface for the guest’s safety.
Maintain lift ramp and snow removal.
Physically lift/assist children and handicapped skiers onto chairlifts.
Maintaining radio coordination with several other mountain operations departments throughout the day.
Assist with ticket validations throughout the day.
Shovel snow
Must have extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and events.
Other duties as assigned
