About The Position

LifeYear is an eighteen to twenty-one-month program designed to prepare individuals for international ministry. It consists of three phases: 'Before You Go' (preparation and team building), 'On Location' (serving in the receiving country with ongoing support and training), and 'Once You Return' (re-entry and future planning). The program emphasizes spiritual and character formation, ministry and cross-cultural skills, and financial partnership development.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years old or above.
• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must have been on an international short term or Ten Days Mission trip.
• Must be an active member of a U.S. based Every Nation church.
• Must attend an Every Nation life/small group regularly.
• Must have pastoral recommendation.
• Must be willing to complete a full financial partnership team before leaving for ministry assignment.
• Able to lead someone to the Lord
• Stable emotional life
• High relational intelligence
• Able to work on a team
• Moderate reading skills
• Adaptable to change
• Good listener
• Proactive work ethic

Responsibilities

• Complete 100% monthly partnership before leaving for ministry assignment, and maintain a minimum of 80% partnership while on assignment.
• Send monthly MPD newsletters to partners.
• Communicate monthly updates to sending church and LifeYear Office.
• Check-in weekly with Ministry Assignment leader.
• Attend Missions Connect call (monthly).
