About The Position

Esplanade at Kingston is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Lifestyle Manager to join their team. This role involves curating and executing a robust program of activities and events to engage and enrich the lives of members and guests. The Lifestyle Manager will be responsible for a variety of programs including fitness, wellness, court sports, cultural events, and social gatherings, aiming to create a vibrant and dynamic resort lifestyle atmosphere. The position is with Esplanade at Kingston, part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of successfully planning and executing events and activities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • A positive, flexible, and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for creating memorable experiences and enriching the lives of others.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years related experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • New hires will be trained in the Esplanade Lifestyle Concierge and the Esplanade Lifestyle Manager Certificate Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing a comprehensive calendar of events and activities that cater to a wide range of interests and preferences, including but not limited to fitness, wellness, court sports, cultural events, pet events, themed events, social clubs and groups, and social gatherings.
  • Building strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and vendors to bring unique and engaging experiences to the community.
  • Collaborating with other departments, including sales and the builder team, to ensure a seamless delivery of all programs and events.
  • Actively seeking and incorporating feedback from members to continually improve and evolve the program offerings.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction at all times.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our program offerings remain robust and relevant.
  • Working closely with the sales team to promote community events and activities, and provide concierge-style assistance to residents.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality events and special occasions, from start to finish.
