This includes planning, coordination and execution of all clubs, classes, activities and programming.

Requirements

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate and attentive to detail
  • Proficient computer (Excel and Word)
  • General knowledge of clubhouse operations
  • Ability to problem solve and diplomatically handle customer issues
  • BS degree and 1-3 years experience in event planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet.
  • Experience working with social media.
  • Must have experience working with the public.
  • Communicates clearly & professionally.
  • Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience.
  • Willing to help others.

Responsibilities

  • Manage community lifestyle and recreation programing.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, lifestyle operations, maintenance, and housekeeping. These items include both long and short-term operations.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff for office, community, and lifestyle department.
  • Responsible for safety of members, guests, and associates when on premises of participating in activities.
  • Responsible for community communications such as newsletters, website, social media, work order and recreation software.
  • Responsible for all community program revenue and expenditures.
  • Maintain all signage within clubhouse, including displays, club boards, and general information.
  • Coordinate partnerships with outside organizations and sponsors.
  • Oversee coordination of facility rentals and reservations.
  • Manage vendors, program instructors and event contracts.
  • Prepare special reports, present programming update at Annual Meeting and attend Board of Directors meetings.
  • Required to work events and recreation programs. Includes working nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Other duties as assigned.
