About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team at Hamilton Parc, an active adult community in Guilderland, NY. This role focuses on developing and coordinating programs and activities for residents to support the SUN® program, manage logistics, and assist with resident transportation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) years driving experience is required if the position will be responsible for driving or considered to be a driving role.
  • Frequent body movements include lifting, moving, transferring, bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching.
  • Able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, unassisted, with twisting and turning of the torso, and stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or applicable work experience.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in event planning, preferably residential property management and in active/independent adult (55+) market.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Canva.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new programs and coordinate activities for residents that support the SUN® program in alignment with the budget and residents’ interests.
  • Plan, organize, lead/instruct, participate, and supervise residents in crafts, games, sports, and recreational and cultural activities.
  • Document resident activity and personal work activity through notes or other written documentation.
  • Create calendars, fliers, posters, newsletters, or other materials for announcing upcoming programs.
  • Provide ongoing information and communications with residents via newsletter and event calendar.
  • Monitor materials and supplies, order supplies as needed, and stock supplies upon receipt.
  • Arrange and serve appropriate refreshments for activities.
  • Transport residents to and from appointments and activities, operating and maintaining the Company vehicle (van/bus, etc.) in a safe and legal manner.
