About The Position

CCMC, a community management company, is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to join their team. This role focuses on creating memorable experiences within a large-scale, master-planned community that emphasizes connectivity, community, and sustainability. The community offers numerous amenities, including a lagoon, pool, rooftop deck, and trails. The Lifestyle Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Lifestyle Director to plan and execute recreational activities and special events, often held on weekends and evenings.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations, or other related experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Professional and energetic demeanor.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Board, team, residents, volunteers, and contractors.
  • Strong conflict resolution and excellent 'people' skills.
  • Organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work independently and participate as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and current vehicle liability insurance.
  • Ability to work full-time hours that are flexible and will include some nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • If driving is required, must hold a valid state driver's license for the class of vehicle being driven, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits.
  • Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle to perform certain job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, promotion, and execution of a comprehensive community event and programming calendar for residents.
  • Help organize and execute community events, holiday events, concerts, dances, and health and education programs.
  • Present a professional demeanor while building relationships with residents, partners, and vendors.
  • Oversee volunteer management at events.
  • Manage the use of the facility for Board, Committee, and other meetings.
  • Coordinate scheduling, set-up, and clean-up with Maintenance, Janitorial, and staff.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for residents in party and meeting planning by providing room scheduling and event information, as well as catering and entertainment resources.
  • Assist with phones, walk-ins, and perform other administrative duties.
