About The Position

Pleasant View Skilled Nursing Community in Ottawa is hiring a PRN Lifestyle Coordinator. You'll help plan and lead special programs and events that bring joy and connection to residents' daily lives. As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you'll develop and coordinate special culinary and cultural events, work alongside Certified Family Partners to keep programming strong, and meet regularly with residents and families to make sure activities reflect what they actually want.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
• Applicants may be subject to a background check.
• Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

• Experience working with seniors and intergenerational programming

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate special culinary and cultural events for residents
• Facilitate activities alongside Certified Family Partners
• Lead monthly training sessions for Certified Family Partners
• Meet regularly with residents and families to gather feedback on programming
• Help maintain program quality and regulatory compliance
