About The Position

The Village at Summerville is seeking a professional and compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to join their team. This role focuses on creating a warm, homelike experience for all residents and helping seniors live their life to the fullest. The Village at Summerville is part of PCSC, which enriches the quality of life for seniors and its team members through the values of Relationships, Teamwork, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Human Services, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or other related filed or National Certification as an Activity Professional
• At least 2 years of experience in leading group activities in a Senior Living setting or similar environment
• Skills, talent and interest in performing arts, arts and crafts, fitness/wellness, music, creative writing etc.
• Strong computer skills
• Valid driver’s license issued by the State of South Carolina

Responsibilities

• Plan activities by assisting the Life Enrichment Director
• Encourage residents to participate in activities
• Welcome and assist new residents and their families, orient residents to community lifestyle.
• Develop a working knowledge of applicable regulations and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Communicate activities and events to the community
• Assist in set-up/clean-up for special events and parties
