About The Position

The LifeSciences Cell Isolationist supports LifeNet Health’s mission by contributing to laboratory operations and regenerative medicine work. The role maintains the laboratory, operates and cares for equipment, and receives and processes research and GMP cells, tissues, and samples according to established procedures. It ensures compliance with SOP, GLP, and GMP requirements through documentation, quality checks, and Certificates of Analysis. The position also supports technology and assay transfers, validation activities, document updates, and investigations of non-conformances, including corrective and preventive actions. It provides project and customer support by managing assigned work, coordinating process updates, assisting with production improvements, communicating with internal and external partners, performing on-call donor screening, and coordinating processing activities across the team.

Requirements

Two years of related work experience in tissue banking, laboratory science, or a related industry, or no experience required with preferred education.

Responsibilities

Maintain the laboratory by cleaning, monitoring, and ordering supplies.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Receive and process research and GMP cells, tissues, and samples according to established SOPs.
Ensure compliance with SOP, GLP, and GMP requirements through accurate documentation, quality checks, and completion of Certificates of Analysis.
Support technology and assay transfers by assisting with validation activities.
Update SOPs, batch records, and related documents.
Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Independently manage assigned project tasks, coordinate process updates, and assist with production improvements.
Communicate with internal and external partners.
Perform on-call donor screening.
Coordinate processing activities across the team.
