The Lifelong Learning Coordinator supports the development of programming and engagement opportunities that keep Brown alumni intellectually connected to the University through the Office of Alumni Relations’ Lifelong Learning program. The Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Lifelong Learning to launch and maintain the “Speakers Bureau,” as well as the Lifelong Learning Calendar, Digest, and Media Bank, which will serve as hallmarks of our Lifelong Learning program as we help Brown alumni explore their intellectual curiosity. The Coordinator is responsible for developing a database of speakers who can engage with alumni on-site, online, and on campus, with an emphasis on focus areas currently important to the University. A highly collaborative individual, the Coordinator also works with teams focused on generational programming, alumni clubs, affinity groups, shared-interest groups, and events, as well as with faculty. In addition, the Coordinator supports the Brown Travelers program, a core component of the Office of Alumni Relations’ Lifelong Learning portfolio. This program collaborates with the Assistant Director of Lifelong Learning, alumni travel partners, and faculty hosts to advance intellectually driven alumni travel experiences. This includes managing the Brown Travelers inbox, coordinating communications with alumni and travel vendors, supporting program logistics and faculty engagement, and ensuring a high level of customer service and operational continuity across the travel portfolio. The position will handle other administrative duties and information technology tasks, as assigned.
