About The Position

Loch Lloyd Country Club is seeking dedicated and reliable Lifeguards for the 2026 pool season. The ideal candidates will have a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of pool guests, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a fun and safe environment at our resort-style pool. Candidates must be responsible, proactive, and able to handle any emergency situation effectively. Two shifts available: 11:00am to 6:30pm or 1:30pm to 8:30pm, minimum of 20 hours up to 40 hours per week. Availability needed through end of October.

Requirements

• Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond to emergency situations quickly.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Previous lifeguard experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers at all times.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, administering CPR, first aid, or other lifesaving measures as needed.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all members and guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members and guests with any pool-related inquiries or concerns.
• Work as part of a team with other lifeguards and staff to maintain high standards of safety and service.
• Attend mandatory training and meetings as required by the Country Club.
