About The Position
The Midlothian Family YMCA is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards. The YMCA will certify qualified candidates. The Y is a cause-driven organization focused on strengthening our community, guided by core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. We are committed to creating a diverse work environment and nurturing the potential of all staff through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- At least 15 years old
- Current CPR certification
- Current AED certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification
- Meet basic swim requirements (if not already certified)
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
