About The Position
The Downtown YMCA is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards (we will certify you if you qualify). The pay range for this position is $15-$17 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- At least 15 years old
- Current CPR certification
- Current AED certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification
- Meet basic swim requirements (if not already certified)
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
