About The Position
Exos is seeking a Lifeguard to join their team. For nearly 30 years, Exos has been dedicated to getting people ready for the moments that matter by promoting a holistic approach to health. As an elite coaching company, Exos applies its evidence-based methodology to programming designed to unlock the potential in everyone from corporate employees, to elite athletes, military operators, and beyond. They manage fitness centers, offer on-site coaching and classes, and provide professional development. The Lifeguard role involves maintaining a secure and safe pool environment, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, teaching swim lessons, and assisting with program development and aquatics center cleanliness.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire
- Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire
Responsibilities
- Maintain watch over the pool area ensuring a secure and safe environment
- Employ accident prevention by enforcing pool rules and regulations
- Respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy
- Teach private & group swim lesson to kids and adults of all abilities
- Assist in the development, implementation and marketing of innovative swim programs
- Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center
