Lifeguard - Manchester YMCA
About The Position
The Manchester Family YMCA is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards. The Y will certify interested candidates if they qualify and meet basic swim requirements. The YMCA of Greater Richmond is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and believes in nurturing the potential of all staff through ongoing professional development. Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current AED certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
- Meet basic swim requirements if not already certified.
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
