About The Position
The Camp Thunderbird YMCA is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool this summer. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards. This is a part-time, seasonal position (summer) which starts at $14.00 per hour. We are looking for candidates who can work over the summer months up to 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Must have current CPR, AED, First Aid certification.
- Must have current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
- Must meet basic swim requirements if not already certified.
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
