The Lifeguard will assist with the implementation of programs, special events, and swim lessons. The Lifeguard will also monitor activities, observe and provide assistance to swimmers, prevent accidents, protect life and enforce regulations. The Lifeguard will also ensure they are positioned in accordance with the State of Wisconsin approved aquatic staffing plan. Position is also required to assist with general facility maintenance and perform other maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned. As a Morning Lifeguard, you will keep a watchful eye during group fitness classes, splash play and swim lessons taking place. A Weekend Lifeguard oversees the lively open swim windows filled with family activities and exciting features like our splash play area with water tipping bucket and other water features including the always in demand indoor/outdoor water slide. No matter the shift, our lifeguards play a vital role in creating a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment. You’ll monitor pool activities, assist patrons, enforce safety regulations, and support the State of Wisconsin–approved aquatic staffing plan. Light facility upkeep and cleaning tasks are also part of the role.
