About The Position
YMCA at Franklin is looking for enthusiastic Lifeguards to join their Aquatics Team. This role is responsible for keeping pools safe, having fun while working, and making an impact. The position is part-time with a pay range starting at $14 per hour, with potential for more based on experience. Hiring is open for all shifts, with specific shift availability noted for Brentwood, Green Hills, Downtown, and Donelson-Hermitage locations.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 16
- Ability to swim at an intermediate level
Nice To Haves
- No lifeguarding experience? No worries! We’ll provide all required training and certifications, including the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, risk-free environment for all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules (politely but firmly).
- Build relationships with members while ensuring they enjoy their time in the water.
- Maintain a clean and safe swimming area.
