About The Position
The North Canton YMCA is seeking qualified Lifeguards to oversee the safety of all swimmers and individuals in the aquatic area. This role requires vigilance, a positive attitude, and a commitment to team collaboration. Lifeguards must be rescue-ready at all times during their shifts and attend mandatory in-service trainings.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of age
- Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification
- Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification
- Willingness to be trained if not currently certified
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area
- Attend mandatory in-service trainings
- Maintain a positive attitude & be a team player
- Be rescue ready at all times during shift
