About The Position
The Chester Family YMCA is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards. The YMCA of Greater Richmond is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is a cause-driven organization focused on strengthening our community through our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current AED certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
- Basic swim requirements (for those interested in becoming certified).
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
