About The Position

For more than 80 years, St. Andrew's Parks & Playground Commission has enriched lives through parks, recreation, and wellness. St. Andrew's Family Fitness Plus, a subdivision of St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, is currently hiring Lifeguards for our indoor and seasonal outdoor pools. As a Lifeguard at St. Andrew's Family Fitness Plus, you will ensure safety in the pool area, enforce rules and regulations, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Must possess a Lifeguard Certification, or the ability to pass/obtain the certification prior to first scheduled shift

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of guarding experience preferred, but not required
• We welcome applicants of all experience levels, including those new to lifeguarding. If you do not currently hold a Lifeguard Certification, we will provide certification training prior to the first scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Creates an inspiring experience for all agency customers
• Ensures the safety and well-being of participants using the pool facility
• Monitors the pool for appropriate chemical and temperature levels
• Attends mandatory monthly staff meeting
