About The Position
Logan Health Medical Fitness Center is looking for dedicated, safety-focused Lifeguards to join our aquatic team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys an active work environment and wants to make a positive impact on every swimmer who walks through our doors. Requirements
- At least 15 years old
- Responsible, attentive, and committed to swimmer safety
- Can stay focused and respond promptly as needed
- Communicate well with children, adults, and families
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Organized, dependable, and professional
- Comfortable learning basic computer programs
- Lifeguard & First Aid Certification – Required within 30 days
- Heart Saver AED CPR preferred or must successfully obtain with in sixty (60) days
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children
Responsibilities
- Supervise activities in the pool, spa, and pool deck areas
- Enforce aquatic rules and safety standards with professionalism and clarity
- Maintain vigilant attention to all pool activity to identify and respond to potential hazards
- Act quickly and effectively in emergencies
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of our emergency action plan
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and control
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pool environment
