Lifeguard Full Availability - Island H2O Waterpark
About The Position
Provide swimmer protection of aquatic areas, dispatch attractions, enforce rules, administer first aid and CPR, and provide exceptional guest service. Perform responsibilities in line with Ellis & Associates Certified Aquatic Risk Management Program. Respond to any situations that compromise the safety of the guests in their respective area. Ensure there is an environment that keeps safety the number one concern for all guests and team members. Contribute to park clean-up and resetting guest areas for the following operational day. Must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekends. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Be in good physical condition
- Successfully complete our Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Training Program
- Pass a prerequisite swim test (Swim 200 yards continuously using an approach stroke, Retrieve a 5lb brick from the deepest part of the pool, Tread water without the use of their hands for 2 minutes)
