About The Position

We are currently seeking a Lifeguard to join the TPC Team during our busier warmer months! This position will be primarily responsible for ensuring safety of all swimmers at our aquatics facility! This position requires flexible availability between 5:30am – 8:15pm and weekend availability.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related experience, ideally in a private club environment.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
• High level of responsibility and accountability.
• Ability to demonstrate motivation and patience with children of all ages.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Upbeat, polite, and friendly personality.
• Ability to pass a background check if required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety of all swimmers which includes incident prevention, response, and reporting.
• Enforcing all Club rules and pool rules while providing a high level of customer service to members and their guests.
• Effectively rescue and provide first said whenever necessary.
• Cleaning all pool surfaces and checking pool chemicals to ensure cleanliness and safety for all members.
• Fulfilling other duties as assigned by Supervisor as needed.
• Acting as part of the TPC team which includes attending staff meetings.
