Lifeguard - Private Country Club
About The Position
The Tuxedo Club seeks experienced, enthusiastic and customer service-driven Lifeguards to join our team for the season! The primary responsibility of the Lifeguard is to ensure the safety of all members and guests in the pool area. This includes ensuring all NYS Health & Safety Standards and Codes are followed by maintaining proper balances of pool chemicals and cleanliness of all aquatic operations. The role also involves completing daily operations forms for opening/closing of each shift and assisting the Pool Director with documentation and ad-hoc projects. You may be required to perform other job-related duties assigned by your Supervisor, or Director.
Requirements
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- Current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED
- Must be able to enforce rules and regulations in a professional manner
- Team player that is energetic, professional, and has a positive attitude
- Must be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, weekends & holidays
Nice To Haves
- Current WSY certification preferred
- 1 year Lifeguard experience preferred
Responsibilities
