About The Position
The Donelson-Hermitage YMCA is looking for enthusiastic Lifeguard, Mornings & Middays to join their Aquatics Team. This role is responsible for keeping pools safe, having fun while working, and making an impact within the YMCA community.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 16
- Ability to swim at an intermediate level
Nice To Haves
- No lifeguarding experience needed; training and certifications (including American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification) will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, risk-free environment for all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules (politely but firmly).
- Build relationships with members while ensuring they enjoy their time in the water.
- Maintain a clean and safe swimming area.
