About The Position
One Vision is seeking dependable, energetic individuals to join our Wellness Center team as Part-Time Lifeguards. Shifts start early at 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for opening the pool facility, maintaining a clean and safe environment, building positive relationships with community members and visitors, monitoring pool and spa areas, performing water testing, and keeping locker rooms and poolside areas neat. You will also be the go-to person for swim lessons, birthday parties, and more.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older
- Strong swimming skills, including: Swim 300 yards (freestyle and breaststroke)
- Tread water for 2 minutes without hands
- Retrieve a 10-pound object from 7-10 feet and swim it back in under 1 min 40 sec
- Dependability is key - facility opens at 6:00 a.m. sharp
- Willingness to complete CPR/First Aid training
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience (or personal familiarity) with individuals with disabilities is a plus
