About The Position

Join the lifeguard team at one of the most exciting waterparks in Wisconsin Dells — The Waterpark Capital of the World. This is a full‑time, year‑round position, not seasonal. Lifeguards supervise guests, enforce waterpark rules, prevent accidents, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Professionalism, alertness, and strong swimming skills are essential.

Requirements

• Strong swimming ability; must be able to swim the length of a pool
• Ability to complete swim test and Red Cross Lifeguard Training (provided)
• Ability to frequently swim, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend
• Ability to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Friendly, courteous, energetic, and guest‑focused
• Punctual with excellent time‑management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
• Physically fit, assertive, and a strong team player
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally; frequently move up to 10 lbs
• Ability to work in moderate noise environments
• Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Supervise guests in all pool and waterpark areas
• Enforce all waterpark rules and safety regulations
• Watch for hazardous situations and respond quickly
• Promote a fun, safe, and relaxing atmosphere
• Assist guests and team members as needed
• Maintain pool and deck areas, including hosing down surfaces
• Remove debris from pools and decks
• Keep tubes stacked neatly and manage tube usage
• Keep pool furniture and umbrellas clean and organized
• Maintain towel supplies for guests
• Carry soiled towels to laundry and restock clean towels
• Ensure all safety and cleaning equipment is stored properly
• Perform other duties as assigned
