About The Position
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our members and guests at The Dominion Country Club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the pool area, enforcing safety rules, and providing emergency response when necessary. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all visitors.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- CPR Certified (must hold current certification).
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Vigilantly monitor the pool area to prevent accidents and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Enforce all pool rules and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist members and guests with pool-related questions and concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool and surrounding areas.
- Conduct regular safety checks of the pool and equipment.
- Administer first aid and CPR in case of emergencies.
- Record and report incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
- Assist with pool setup and breakdown as needed.
