At Providence Point, we're looking for vigilant and energetic Lifeguards to join our dynamic team. For over a century, Baptist Senior Family has provided exceptional care to older adults, offering services like independent living, personal care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation. This PRN (Pro Re Nata) position is scheduled on an as-needed basis to provide support during call-offs, vacations, and other coverage needs. Hours are not guaranteed, scheduling is flexible and based on availability and facility needs.
Requirements
- Current certifications in Lifeguarding and First Aid, current CPR/AED certification or able to get certified before hire date. Must keep all certifications current while employed.
- Thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques, facility characteristics, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, decision making, leadership, public relations skills.
- Punctuality and low rate of call off is imperative. See employee manual for absenteeism guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Provide immediate and effective responses to emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment.
