About The Position
The Frank J. Thornton YMCA Aquatic Center is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool! We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards. The Y will certify you if you qualify and meet basic swim requirements. The pay range for this position is $15-$16 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Current CPR certification
- Current AED certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification
- Meet basic swim requirements
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
