About The Position

Spread Your Wings, LLC. – ILS Services is hiring a part-time Life Skills Coach to support individuals with developmental disabilities in building independence and confidence in their daily lives. The position covers Hollister, with work and commuting in and around the Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Seaside areas. The role is primarily field-based, spending about 90% of the time with clients and 10% on administration and documentation. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are needed.

Requirements

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Able to work and commute in and around the Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Seaside areas.
Able to pass a background check in accordance with state industry standards.
Computer literacy, including MS Word, email, and basic data entry.
Strong communication skills, dependability, and creative problem-solving ability.
Able to work independently in one-on-one settings with clients.

Behavioral health experience.

Responsibilities

Coach clients in independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and hygiene.
Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
Plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules suited to clients.
Document client progress through case notes and quarterly reports.
Spend approximately 90% of working time in the field with clients and 10% on administrative work and documentation.
Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff.
