About The Position

Intercept Health is a family-owned agency serving various mental and behavioral health, substance use, and foster care needs in Virginia. As a Full-time Life Skills Coach at YouthQuest's Independent Living Apartment Program, the role involves actively engaging with young adults, ages 17-21, who are preparing for a successful transition into the community. The coach serves as a positive role model, supporting residents in developing essential life skills such as money management, employment acquisition, educational completion, daily living skills, and career exploration. The position also contributes to the formulation and implementation of resident transitional living plans and assists with life skills learning, transportation, and administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's diploma in any field plus two years of experience in providing case management services to children and families
  • OR a human service Bachelor's degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, etc) with experience providing case management services to children/youth and their families
  • OR a human service Master's degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, etc) with a student placement providing case management services to children/youth and their families

Responsibilities
