The Life Path Assistant will be in the unique position to bring joy and purpose to our residents with everyday activities built around what each individual wants—not just a large group of everyone being forced to attend the same event. Your day will include opportunities to help get residents ready for the day so they can fully-participate in the quality of life they deserve. As a C.N.A., you would provide assistance with ADL’s or other recreational activities. The joy of being at QLI will offer you experience in a healthcare setting while you branch out into relationship-building with our residents and team members.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid Driver's License.
Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Must be able to pass a fitness assessment.
Must not have any condition or limitation that could pose a direct threat to self or others unless such threat can be eliminated by a reasonable accommodation.
Regular attendance in your assigned role is an essential job function.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist residents with ADL's.
Provide assistance with recreational activities.
Assist residents in navigating iPads to find new apps or games.
Help residents read letters or create birthday cards.
Assist residents in the sports bar.
Create adaptive ways for residents to enjoy painting, knitting, stenciling, or woodworking.
Help residents complete online shopping or search for games.
