About The Position

Join our team and gain valuable insight into insurance operations while supporting reporting, process improvement, and documentation projects that help drive business success. As a Life Operations Intern, you will gain exposure to life insurance operations and business processes, hands-on experience with reporting, documentation, and process improvement, opportunities to develop professional communication and analytical skills, and experience working with SharePoint and other business technologies. You will also receive mentorship from experienced professionals in the insurance industry.

Requirements

Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with SharePoint
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and applications
Experience working with Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

Maintain and update departmental SharePoint sites to ensure information is accurate, current, and easily accessible.
Assist with researching and resolving items identified on suspense reports.
Support the preparation and distribution of weekly production reports and related analytics.
Review and update departmental procedures and documentation to improve accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with team members on operational projects and process improvement initiatives.
