This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. The role involves maintaining a safe pool environment, preventing injuries, and minimizing hazardous situations. The lifeguard will maintain constant surveillance of patrons, provide emergency care, and enforce pool rules. Additionally, the position requires presenting a professional appearance, communicating with other lifeguards, and completing required records and reports. Daily routines, maintenance tasks, and cleanliness of locker rooms are also part of the responsibilities. The lifeguard will adhere to all operational standards, policies, and procedures, and assist the Aquatics Director, Aquatics Coordinator, and/or Head Life Guard with assigned duties.
