About The Position

Black Butte Ranch is hiring Lifeguards for their busy summer season. The role involves providing a safe pool environment, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean facility. The position requires comfort in enforcing pool rules and health codes, flexibility in scheduling including weekends and holidays, and an understanding of pool operations. Paid training is available. Jobs start in May/June 2026 and end in September.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Have a current lifeguard training certificate or equivalent
• Have a current First Aid/CPR certificate
• Comfortable enforcing pool rules and state health department codes
• Can work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Understands the chemical and mechanical operation of swimming pools

Nice To Haves

• Experience lifeguarding
• Experience teaching swim lessons
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certificate
