Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and safety rules.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices and Hilltop policies and procedures.
  • Ability to accurately and clearly provide direction to staff and residents.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in a variety of formats including written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule form.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior aligned with Hilltop’s Assisted Living Community (ALC) philosophy, including Service 1 (how we treat each other) and Service 2 (how we treat our residents).
  • Carry out assigned activities safely and timely, including room setup, activity setup, and tear down.
  • Organize and implement ongoing activities for residents in Memory Care units, providing level-appropriate services and behavior intervention.
  • Plan and implement various activities for residents in collaboration with Life Enrichment Managers, challenging their cognitive, social, and physical needs.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Life Enrichment Department, providing input, attending meetings, and evaluating programs.
  • Coordinate hospitality services for new and current residents at The Commons, The Fountains, and The Cottages, including welcome gifts, cards, flowers, birthday/anniversary celebrations, and memorial services.
  • Facilitate and organize activities in the evenings, weekends, and holidays as requested, managing time to provide enrichment opportunities for multiple residents.
  • Facilitate scheduled fitness classes, adhering to the curriculum set by the Life Enrichment Director.
  • Transport residents to various planned outings and/or assist the driver with loading and unloading.
  • Utilize various techniques and tactics to engage residents in daily activities requiring direct and demonstrative communication.
