About The Position

The Life Enrichment Manager creates personalized Life Skills experiences for residents living with memory loss, fostering purpose, familiarity, connection, and meaningful moments. The role involves resident-centered programming tailored to residents’ interests and abilities, including daily routines, small groups, and enrichment clubs. The manager documents participation, maintains program stations and supplies, encourages team members and volunteers to support resident engagement, and assists residents to and from activities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to residents’ cognitive abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on residents’ interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation in accordance with quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support resident engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
