About The Position

The Life Enrichment Lead Assistant @ First Colonial Inn supports the planning and delivery of programs that promote a vibrant, healthy lifestyle for residents and associates, following Kisco’s Art of Living Well℠ philosophy. This includes organizing events, facilitating classes, coordinating transportation, and enhancing resident engagement across emotional, physical, social, intellectual, spiritual, and vocational dimensions.

Requirements

Be a great team player
High school graduate; Associate degree preferred.
2-4 years’ experience in Life Enrichment programs (preferably with seniors)
Background in different dimensions of Art of Living Well is beneficial
Experience leading exercise classes and assisting with exercise equipment
Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record
First Aid Certification required

Nice To Haves

Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment (as required)
CDL or fitness certification may be required or obtained after hire

Responsibilities

Assist in creating and implementing monthly Life Enrichment calendars and activities.
Support resident engagement through programs, outings, and special events.
Promote participation from residents, associates, and community volunteers.
Coordinate transportation and assist with setup/cleanup of events.
Monitor resident well-being and report changes to appropriate staff.
Help onboard, train, and support Life Enrichment team members.
Maintain clean and safe program spaces and equipment.
