Life Enrichment Director - Activities
About The Position
At Monarch Communities, our Life Enrichment Director plays a key role in enriching our residents' lives, helping them to live an active and vibrant life. This role involves getting to know residents to plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming. The position also includes promoting community events, participating in activities, utilizing social media and other platforms to showcase daily happenings, and occasionally driving a company vehicle to transport residents. Setting up and breaking down events is also part of the role.
Requirements
- Quickly connect with people and love to learn about them.
- Talents as a singer, dancer, artist, poet, historian, or trivia expert are a plus.
- Exercise creativity.
- Positive attitude and a lot of energy.
- Active Driver's license in good standing.
- Experience in dementia care and assisted living environments.
- Knowledge of recreational therapy and memory care practices.
- Mid-level experience in senior care settings.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

- Occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events.
