About The Position

Make a meaningful difference every day. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator at The Cedars, you will create and lead engaging programs that enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our Assisted Living residents. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and compassion to a variety of activities—from fitness and arts to social events and one-on-one engagement—helping residents stay active, connected, and confident.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in activities, recreation, or senior engagement
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• A positive, compassionate, and energetic approach

Nice To Haves

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
• Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead daily activities including exercise, games, arts & crafts, and social programs
• Support residents’ emotional and social well-being through meaningful interactions
• Encourage participation and build strong relationships with residents
• Organize special events and group activities
• Assist with resident visits and mealtime support as needed
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive community environment
