About The Position

Havenwood of Minnetonka is recruiting a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate meaningful activities for independent, assisted living, and memory care residents. Activities should reflect residents’ needs and interests and support their physical, mental, and social well-being. The coordinator assists the Director of Life Enrichment with programs and events, leads daily activities, and helps foster a healthy community culture for residents and employees. This is a part-time position with weekday shifts from 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and a required weekend shift every third weekend. The listed salary is $18–$20 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree preferred.
Six months of experience working with seniors in activities or life enrichment preferred.
Enthusiasm, compassion, and passion for hospitality and senior engagement.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating monthly resident activities and special events in accordance with the Life Enrichment programs.
Promote a healthy community culture for residents and employees.
Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff on disease prevention and management as part of the Lifestyle and Health Services Wellness Program.
Lead daily resident activities according to Community standards.
Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to Community standards.
Plan and execute diverse, engaging programs that meet the needs of residents, including newly retired seniors, seniors needing physical assistance, and seniors at varying stages of memory loss.
