About The Position

The Memory Care Life Enrichment Associate plans, coordinates, and directs a wide and varied scope of activities and programming that meet the wellness needs of Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Encourages each resident to take part in the community life enrichment programs and/or assists facilitating meaningful one on one experience for residents.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills, time-management skills, and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with ability to implement and lead group activities.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Safety focus to ensure safe environment for residents and guests
General knowledge of Dementia and other cognitive challenges
Comfort in using Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Active Oklahoma CNA certification required.

Nice To Haves

Oklahoma CNA certification preferred.
Senior Living community experience is preferred.
Recreational therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and leads a wide and varied scope of activities with the intent of including all residents; encourages participation based on person-centered approach personal preference, and ability.
Supports resident is determining their appropriate level and quantity of activity.
Drive passenger bus and ensuring the safety of residents during transport.
Maintains al equipment, supplies, public bulletin boards, ect. In an organized manner.
Assists in gathering resources, planning and informing residents of upcoming activities.
Maintains confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Other duties as assigned.
