About The Position

Iris Memory Care of NW OKC is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Life Enrichment Assistant for its Oklahoma City memory care community, which serves people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The assistant helps plan and lead activities that support residents’ emotional, social, cognitive, and physical well-being, working closely with residents throughout the day to create a warm and engaging community environment. The posting describes a part-time opening and says weekend availability is required. It also notes that full-time and part-time opportunities may be available. Pay starts at $15.00 per hour and is negotiable based on experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous senior living, memory care, activities, childcare, customer service, or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead and assist with daily activities, events, games, crafts, music, exercise, and social engagement.
Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships with residents and families.
Support outings, special events, and holiday celebrations.
Assist with activity setup, decorating, organization, and cleanup.
Help maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the community.
Collaborate with caregivers, nursing staff, and leadership.
Adapt activities to meet the unique needs of residents living with dementia.
