Life Enrichment Assistant - Memory Care
About The Position
Spring Creek Village, an independent and assisted living senior community with memory care, is seeking an energetic and creative Life Enrichment Assistant to help create engaging activities and support residents. The role assists with developing and implementing activities and events that promote an active lifestyle, encourages residents’ participation and social connections, and helps enhance resident experiences through community resources and external entertainers. The assistant also responds courteously to residents, families, and visitors, supports the Director with calendars and newsletters, and participates in the community’s emergency response team. This is a full-time position paying $16.00 per hour. The schedule must include weekends and holidays; availability for special events on other days or shifts is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of prior activities experience with seniors.
- Compliance with state requirements for Assisted Living.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record meeting internal and insurance carrier requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and some Excel.

Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing activities and events that promote an active lifestyle for residents.
- Involve residents in on-site and off-site activities, encouraging participation and social connections.
- Prepare and ensure necessary supplies are ready for activities and events.
- Respond to residents, families, and visitors with immediate, courteous assistance.
- Help the Director develop monthly calendars and newsletters, and take pictures for newsletters and social media.
- Assist in coordinating community resources and external entertainers.
- Participate as an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with special projects or tasks as needed.
