About The Position

The Life Enrichment Assistant supports engaging activities and events for residents of Spring Creek Village, an independent and assisted living senior community with memory care. The role helps promote an active lifestyle, resident participation, social connection, and a vibrant community. The assistant also supports event preparation, resident and visitor service, community programming, communications, and emergency response.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One year of prior activities experience with seniors.
Compliance with state requirements for Assisted Living.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record meeting internal and insurance carrier requirements.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
Proficiency with PCs, including Microsoft Office, Word, and some Excel.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Availability for special events on other days or shifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing activities and events that promote an active lifestyle for residents.
Involve residents in activities both on and off-site, encouraging participation and social connections.
Prepare and organize the supplies needed for activities and events.
Respond promptly and courteously to the needs of residents, families, and visitors.
Help the Director develop monthly calendars and newsletters, and take pictures for newsletters and social media.
Help coordinate community resources and external entertainers.
Serve as an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene in accordance with company policies.
Assist with special projects or tasks as needed.
