About The Position

Aegis is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative Life Enrichment Assistant to help create meaningful memories for residents and their families. The assistant works alongside Life Enrichment Directors to design and conduct activities, support community events, and develop innovative enrichment programs for residents. The role includes a variety of creative, recreational, and social activities, while maintaining a professional and caring attitude toward residents.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. The listed pay range is $22.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Caring and compassionate attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use computers, televisions, apps, and other electronic devices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with seniors in assisted living or a related field is preferred.
• Musical or artistic background and experience planning events for seniors are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and conduct activities for residents alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s).
• Assist in coordinating community-wide events, including themed parties, holiday celebrations, and hosted speakers.
• Create new and innovative enrichment programs and activities while maintaining high-quality standards for residents.
• Participate in activities such as painting and pottery, lunch outings, shopping trips, sporting events, card games, exercise, puzzles, games, and movies.
• Maintain a professional and caring attitude toward residents.
