About The Position
This position assists in planning and executing therapeutic recreational activities, primarily on weekends, and performs additional duties as assigned by the Activities Coordinator or Activities Director. The role is PRN (as needed) for evening shifts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience as an Activities Assistant working in a skilled nursing facility
- Must have a valid Virginia Driver’s License
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work.
- Must pass a criminal background check (excluding current DVS employees).
